Dạng này là gì?
Đề cho bạn một bài tóm tắt (summary) của passage hoặc một phần passage, với các chỗ trống cần điền. Có 2 loại:

Chiến lược 5 bước
- Đọc instruction kỹ — xác định Loại 1 hay Loại 2, kiểm tra word limit
- Đọc summary trước — hiểu nội dung tóm tắt, dự đoán loại từ cần điền (noun/verb/adjective?)
- Xác định vùng trong passage — summary thường tóm tắt 1-2 đoạn, không phải toàn bài
- Scan passage — tìm thông tin tương ứng (chú ý paraphrase!)
- Kiểm tra — từ điền vào có đúng ngữ pháp không? Đúng word limit không?

The Sahara Desert, covering approximately 9.2 million square kilometres, is the largest hot desert in the world. Despite its harsh conditions, the Sahara supports a surprising variety of life. Over 500 species of plants have adapted to survive in the extreme heat and minimal rainfall. Some plants have developed extremely long roots — up to 20 metres — to reach underground water sources.
Animals in the Sahara have also developed remarkable adaptations. The fennec fox, the smallest fox species in the world, has oversized ears that help dissipate heat and detect prey underground. The dromedary camel can survive for up to two weeks without drinking water, thanks to its ability to store fat in its hump, which can be converted into water and energy when needed.

Coral reefs are often called the “rainforests of the sea” because they support an extraordinary diversity of marine life. Although they cover less than 1% of the ocean floor, coral reefs are home to approximately 25% of all marine species. The reef structure is built by tiny animals called coral polyps, which secrete a hard calcium carbonate skeleton.
Coral reefs face numerous threats. Rising ocean temperatures cause coral bleaching — a process in which corals expel the colourful algae living in their tissues, turning white. If temperatures remain high for too long, the coral dies. Pollution from agricultural runoff, overfishing, and coastal development also damage reef ecosystems. Scientists warn that without urgent action, up to 90% of the world’s coral reefs could disappear by 2050.
